We build covered porches on deep roof-load concrete footings with notched 6x6 posts, double header beams, hurricane-tied rafters, and ice-and-water flashed roof valleys.

01 / Framing

Heavy Posts, Double Headers & Flashed Ledgers

Every covered porch starts below grade with poured concrete footings inspected prior to framing. Above ground, 6x6 posts carry double 2x10 or 2x12 headers bolted and braced so the roof never racks or settles.

02 / Finishes

Composite Floors, Custom Stairs & Clean Trim

We finish covered porches with picture-framed composite or pressure-treated flooring, multi-stringer staircases, thru-bolted railings, and cleanly mitered fascia and post wraps.

How We Work

How a project comes together, start to finish.

Every build follows the same disciplined sequence. Nothing gets covered up until the structure underneath is square, level, and anchored to last.

“I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They built a screened in porch for me this past winter and did a great job. The crew is professional and easy to work with from start to finish.”

Common Questions

Things homeowners ask us.

Both feature a permanent shingled or metal roof tied into your house and supported on deep concrete footings and 6x6 posts. A covered porch stays open above the railing so you have an unobstructed view and direct step-down access to your yard or grill deck, while still keeping can lights, ceiling fans, and patio furniture dry.
Yes. We space and plumb our 6x6 support posts and header heights so that if you ever decide to add screen panels and a screen door down the road, the framing is already built to accept them without structural modifications.
We source architectural shingles, drip edge, soffit, and fascia trim to match your existing house colors and roof pitch so the covered porch looks like it was built the day the house went up.
Yes. Half-covered, half-open layouts are one of our most requested designs in Wake Forest, Sanford, and Raleigh, giving you shaded dining under the roof and open sun space for grilling.
Capped composite decking (Trex or TimberTech) and #1 pressure-treated pine both perform very well on covered porches where blowing rain or morning dew may reach the perimeter.
